Why is the wait granted when the wait included agony?
The wait for the real ears. The real eyes. The real everything. In a world where real is rare the wait requires patience. The wait feels endless but the arrival of the real will make it worth it.
So wait. Wait for the handcrafted and the divinely intended. Wait for the creation and not the made. Wait for the real and not for the fake.
Real is rare and that’s why agony is present. Real doesn’t hesitate — real creates possibilities. Real doesn’t pertain pain, it exudes excellence.
Real is ease and difficulty becomes a nuisance. To be real in a world full of fake requires the wait — and while you wait, BECOME.

Words a beautiful expression of conscious thoughts To say one word is to think of many The word chosen to be spoken is the word that is heard by the world Choose your words through the thoughts that can fill a rose field What words will you speak today and who will you choose to express them to One word spoken is the equal to many thoughts unspoken Let your words fill the world and let your thoughts fill your heart Believe you can and just like a word spoken the belief will be seen by the world

"Welcome to Awaken, a space where truth is not only allowed — it is honored. My name is Zeinab Hamid, and I created this podcast to bring voice to the parts of us that have long been silenced — the parts that question, feel deeply, and desire something more meaningful from life.Awaken is not just about conversations; it’s about transformation. It’s about peeling back the layers of who we thought we had to be, so that we can remember who we really are. This is a space for the seekers, the empaths, the ones who have carried pain and turned it into wisdom. This is for those who are ready to stop running from themselves and instead begin the sacred journey of coming home to who they’ve always been. Here, we do not shy away from the raw, the real, or the rare. We lean into it. We explore the intersections of healing, spirituality, self-awareness, and the lessons that life so often whispers to us — if only we would listen. Each episode is an invitation: an invitation to pause, reflect, and awaken something new within yourself.I believe that healing is not a destination; it is a process, a practice, a way of being. It’s about learning to see the beauty in the breakdowns, the power in the pauses, and the wisdom in the wounds. It’s about realizing that even in the darkest moments, light is present — waiting for us to notice.Through heartfelt stories, honest reflections, and conversations that reach beyond the surface, Awaken will guide you into deeper connection with yourself and the world around you. My hope is that as you listen, you feel seen, you feel understood, and you feel reminded that you are never alone on this journey. This is not about perfection — it is about presence. Not about answers — but about asking better questions. And not about doing more — but about finally allowing yourself to be.

For a long time, I thought I wasn’t healing because I still cried over certain things, or because anger still came up when I remembered painful moments. I believed that healing meant a “perfect” reaction — no tears, no anger, no sadness.
But I’ve learned something different. Just because an emotion is still attached to a memory does not mean you aren’t healed. It means you’re human. It means that memory was real, it mattered, and your heart remembers.
Healing isn’t about erasing emotions. Healing is about how you hold them, how you respond to them. When your reaction to that emotion no longer creates chaos, but instead allows space for grief, for mourning, or simply for feeling — that’s healing.
So if you still cry sometimes, you are not broken. If sadness still washes over you, you are not failing. You are practicing emotional safety. You are honoring yourself.
And that’s the real ending — not perfection, but practice. Not silence, but peace. Not the absence of pain, but the presence of safety within it.

The Becoming…..
A simple word BECOMING. Yet the word leads to anything. It doesn’t have a definition. We choose the ending. To become….. I am becoming…. What? For what? To who? How do I become? Why do I become? What does becoming mean to me? The BECOMING!!!!! I have one way to understand this expression and one way to define it in my world. I am becoming whoever I want to be. My becoming is my purpose. Wherever I stand, I will become that. War between the mind and the heart is a battle most people lose. They lose because they conform to either the mind or the heart. To live in your becoming, you are living in alignment with your mind and your heart. The battle is won when decisions are made naturally. I am there, people, I won the battle. The internal quake. The internal dilemma, the internal hurricane. The only answers you can find to help you will be the ones your self-awareness conjures up. You find the answers to who you want to be. It sounds simple, yet probably 70 percent of the world has yet to find the answers. Why is it so hard for you to help yourself? The first question you need to ask is WHY? Why do I conform? Why do I people-please? Why? This question is used because your curiosity needs the answer. Usually, the question is used to gain knowledge from something outside of you. I found that asking myself why I do something helped me understand and then acknowledge it. To become, you need to understand yourself more than anything else. The truth must live in every room you enter. When you walk with certainty, you are not bothered by anything you can't control. The whole point of questions is to find the answer, and when you continue to ask yourself questions, you continue to find the answers to who you are. Who are you? Please write it down. I promise that when you do this exercise, you will either find it easy or find it difficult. If it's easy, you are living in your purpose. If it's hard, your soul is still looking for its purpose. Your mind and heart find comfort when your core values are being honored. So, here's another question. What are the top three core values you look for in other people? Do you embody those core values? Are you true to those core values? If the answer is no, then you will be living an internal battle until you start honoring those values.
